paddling the pecos

back in caracas after a quick trip to Texas, where I met up with my dad and sister Morgan on the Mexican border to paddle the pecos river. it was a great trip...nothing beats paddling in untouched nature, listening to wild billy goat cries echoing through the canyon, with the people you love most! more snaps from the Tejas trip up soon!

Right now my dear dad and sister morgan are in their 13th hour paddling non-stop in the Colorado River 100 kayak race. Here's a photo I snapped of them on my last trip home, when we went to San Marcos to pick up their new racing boat. good luck guys!

still here, just busy busy! august was a stellar month. (2) week long + (1) 4-day editorial assignments...23 portrait sessions...4 workshop-days taught..1-gallery show...67.22GB of photo files...and dozens of new friends. thanks to everyone who helped make it so great...and thanks for all the emails and pulse checks...i promise to get my blogger-ing on again soon!
